Across our country, countless student-athletes dedicate endless hours to developing the fundamentals and refining the techniques of their sport—all with the dream of becoming a college athlete. For many, that dream began in youth leagues and has remained a driving force throughout their development.

My hope is that athletes will use the information, tools, and strategies in this workbook to increase their opportunities and turn their dreams into reality.

The Transcript Mindset’s goal is to change the focus from the student’s report card to the student’s high school transcript and cumulative GPA. Additionally, The Transcript Mindset also offers the Four Tracks of Success to help empower each student to navigate their post-secondary educational plans beginning in the ninth grade. The student’s “PSE.” Students and especially parents need to understand the how semester grades builds the high school transcript starting with the ninth grade marks setting the baseline of the GPA.
